Between a Saturday morning and a late-autumn Sunday morning, several lives brush briefly against one another. Marin, an old man returning from France, a taxi driver, a barista passing through, two young women and Dia are each trying to get closer to someone.
Catalin Mitulescu was born in 1972 in Bucharest. His short films "Bucharest-Wien 8:15" and "17 Minutes Late" were selected in the Cinefondation of Cannes Film Festival and festivals like Clermont- Ferrand, Karlovy Vary, Angers or Torino. For his third short film "Traffic" was awarded in 2004 with the Palme d'Or. In 2006 he wrote and directed "The Way I Spent the End of the World". The film was in the Official Selection of Cannes - Un Certain Regard and received the best Actress Award. Loverboy (2011), his second feature premiered at Un Certain Regard competition at Cannes in 2010.By the Rails ( 2016) had the International Premiere at Karlovy Vary IFF 2016, and won Special Mention Award. Heidi( 2019) its his fourth feature film and was in competition at Sarajevo IFF.
