Nothing is going right in Elise's life: stuck in a toxic relationship, she finds herself thrust into the role of director following the sudden death of the famous Groutchov, whom she had been assisting. A strange symptom, panic disorder, overwhelms her. Elise tries to put on a brave face, but her relationship with the world is completely changed. Could this be an opportunity for her to look at life differently?
A theater actress trained at the Cours Florent and then the École du Théâtre National de Strasbourg, Marie Rémond won the Molière Award for Best Female Newcomer for her role in Yvonne, Princesse de Bourgogne, then moved on to directing shows created at the Odéon and the Rond-Point, in which she played André Agassi, based on his biography, Barbara Loden in Vers Wanda, and more recently Delphine Seyrig in Delphine et Carole. She then created two shows for the Comédie Française based on the figures of Bob Dylan and Fellini. VANISHING GOATS is her first feature film. In keeping with her theatrical creations, Marie questions the world through her hypersensitive characters who are prey to their “inner chaos.”
